All Clinical thermometers :Part1 Solid stem type are categorized under IS 3055 (Part-1). All models and brands of that meets IS 3055 (Part-1) standards are required to get ISI Certification before its launch or import to the Indian consumer market. ISI Certificated will be issued to the manufacturer only (not to dealer/trader or distributor) whether manufacturer is in India or in abroad does not matter.
