Product for EPRA for E-Waste

EPR stands for Extended Producer's Responsibility. It is a policy whereby producers are held responsible for the environmental impact of their products, even after they have been sold. In India, EPR is mandatory for all electronic and electrical products, including tablets and iPads.

To obtain EPR authorization for tablets and iPads in India, manufacturers and importers must submit an application to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The application must include the following information:

• The name and address of the manufacturer or importer
• The type and quantity of tablets or iPads being imported or manufactured
• The name and address of the recycling agency that will be responsible for collecting and recycling the e-waste
• A copy of the agreement between the manufacturer or importer and the recycling agency
